Kingdom of Flavor: 5 Top Chefs from Thailand Arrive in Moscow

From October 8 to 12, 2025, Moscow will become the center of gastronomic diplomacy as it hosts the first-ever Russia–Thailand Gastronomic Festival. Five leading chefs from Thailand — all recognized by the Michelin Guide — will showcase their culinary artistry through a five-day program of gala dinners, masterclasses, and collaborations with some of Russia’s best restaurants.

The festival is organized by the Russia–Thailand Business Council with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Russian Federation.

“This festival is more than just a series of dinners — it is a living dialogue between two cultures, where flavor becomes the universal language,” says Ivan Demchenko, Chairman of the Russia–Thailand Business Council.
“We are creating a platform for cultural exchange, strengthening humanitarian ties, and fostering long-term cooperation between Russia and Thailand through the universal art of gastronomy.”

The impressive delegation features five Thai chefs awarded with Michelin Stars and Bib Gourmand distinctions. Among them:

  • Chef Jom (Baannok Bangkok) — whose restaurant earned Michelin recognition just five months after opening;

  • Chef Nui (Jaras, InterContinental Phuket) — known for his zero-waste philosophy and innovative approach to Southern Thai cuisine;
