On December 17, RTBC representatives took part in a meeting of business councils and representatives of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry abroad with Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, held at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The topic of the workshop was Russia's external benchmarks in the priority markets of foreign countries.
Maxim Reshetnikov spoke about the main successes of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development in its work on the external and internal circuits of the country (removing barriers to Russian products' access to other countries' markets, expanding the mechanism of Intergovernmental Commissions) and expressed his readiness to provide all necessary support to business councils and Russian entrepreneurs, including within the framework of a new national project to support international cooperation and exports. The Minister also called on all business councils to be actively involved in the activities of Intergovernmental Commissions as an important mechanism for conducting foreign economic activity.
At the meeting, the business councils were also tasked with the following tasks: export development, the development of new markets and markets of friendly countries, the development of cooperation with colleagues abroad, project cooperation, as well as the production of high–quality and competitive products.
In addition, during the event, the chairmen of the business councils were able to identify the main problems in promoting the trade and economic agenda, as well as propose solutions.
