The Russian-Thai Business Council (RTBC) held a meeting with the Minister of Transport of Thailand.

RTBC Chairman Ivan Demchenko on August 5 held business negotiations with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport of the Kingdom of Thailand Phiphat Rachakitprakan, who was in Moscow during a working visit.

A wide range of issues related to cooperation in the transport and logistics sectors were discussed during the meeting. Specifically, the parties noted their interest in increasing the frequency of air travel between the countries and creating the necessary infrastructure, the participation of Russian companies in supplying equipment for rail transport projects, the development of maritime shipping, and the application of the best IT solutions for logistics management. Leading Russian companies participated in the discussion, including Rosatom State Corporation, FESCO, KAMAZ, and TUTU.RU.

Ivan Demchenko also invited Phiphat Rachakitprakan to take part in the II Russian-Thai Investment Forum.
